About the ICS Band Program

The Immaculate Conception School Band program consists of 6 different bands ranging from 4th grade through 8th grade. Students begin learning their instruments at the beginning of 4th grade and continue their musical advancement through the upper-elementary and middle school levels.  Members of the band program have a weekly pull-out instrumental lesson in a small group setting. These lessons, located in the ICS band room, operate on a rotating schedule in order to avoid missing the same class consecutively.   Concert band and jazz  band rehearsals are held once a week on the gymnasium stage.
